Seven generations later in New York,
proprietor Maryann Cusimano wanted more out of life.
Her long over due dream to continue the family’s tradition of farming became a reality.
In 2002 the city dweller became a country lavender farmer.
Her son Yohannes joined the farm as the operations manager.
The tradition now continues with the next generation.
Lavender Skies operates on nine lush sustainable acres, producing seven varieties of Lavender and Helichrysum for wholesale and private label enterprises.
